Traditional Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a space to slow down, reconnect and grow together. While many people think therapy is only for relationships in crisis, it can also be a proactive way to strengthen what’s already there.

I support couples at every stage whether you’re navigating recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, communication break down, rebuilding after infidelity or discerning the next steps in your relationship, including divorce. I offer a structured, supportive environment to process difficult emotions, clarify needs and make thoughtful decisions with care and respect.

Our work focuses on practical conflict management skills, healthier communication and restoring emotional connection. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen understanding and create new ways of relating that feel safe, honest and aligned.

Let’s reimagine not just how you handle challenges, but how you experience closeness, partnership and love.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a space dedicated entirely to you and your growth, healing and goals. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, managing anxiety, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I offer the support and clarity needed to move forward with intention.

We work together to strengthen self-esteem and build lasting self-confidence, helping you better understand your thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Through compassionate exploration and practical tools, you’ll develop healthier coping strategies, greater emotional regulation and a stronger sense of identity.

Individual therapy is also about deepening your connection to yourself and to others. As you cultivate self-awareness and self-trust, your relationships naturally shift in meaningful ways.

Let’s reimagine how you relate to yourself, your challenges and your potential.

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy provides a safe, affirming and judgment-free space to explore the intimate parts of your life that can feel hardest to talk about. Sexual concerns are more common than many people realize, and they are treatable.

I work with individuals and couples experiencing desire differences, low libido, intimacy challenges, performance anxiety, and the impact of past trauma on sexual connection as well as many other sexual issues. Therapy can help you better understand your body, reduce shame, improve communication around needs and boundaries, and rebuild trust in yourself and your partner.

I also provide supportive care around sexual orientation and gender-related concerns, offering an inclusive space to explore identity, relationships and authenticity without fear of judgment.

Sex therapy isn’t only about addressing problems. It’s about deepening connection, pleasure and confidence. Let’s reimagine how you experience intimacy, safety and desire.

CNM + Poly

I offer affirming, nonjudgmental therapy for individuals and partners exploring consensual non-monogamy and polyamory. Whether you’re opening a relationship, already practicing non-monogamy, or questioning what structure feels right, therapy provides a grounded space to navigate it with clarity and care.

I help you define relationship structures, clarify values, and create intentional agreements that reflect everyone’s needs. Together, we work through jealousy, resentment and unmet needs shifting from reactivity to honest communication and secure attachment. You’ll learn how to set and maintain boundaries, repair ruptures and build trust across multiple connections.

I also acknowledge and process the impact of stigma, helping you strengthen your confidence and resilience in living authentically.

Consensual non-monogamy thrives on transparency, emotional responsibility and ongoing dialogue. Let’s reimagine how you structure love, connection and commitment.

Therapeutic Techniques

Gottman Method™ Couples Counseling is an evidence-based approach developed from over 40 years of clinical research by Drs. John Gottman and Julie Gottman. Informed by their work, including The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work and What Makes Love Last?, this model translates relationship science into clear, actionable tools couples can use in everyday life.

This structured yet personalized process helps partners identify unhelpful patterns, improve emotional responsiveness, and develop skills for managing conflict more effectively. Couples learn how to strengthen their friendship, rebuild trust, and create a more supportive and satisfying intimate connection.

Whether you’re looking to reinforce an already solid relationship or work through deeper challenges such as betrayal or chronic disconnection, my goal is to guide you using proven strategies that foster lasting change and a stronger emotional bond.

Gottman Method™

Sex therapy offers a confidential, supportive space to explore concerns related to intimacy, sexual functioning, compulsive or out-of-control sexual behaviors, and specific sexual challenges. These conversations are handled with sensitivity, expertise, and without judgment. When appropriate, therapy may include structured exercises or guided practices to explore privately between sessions, helping you apply insights in real life.

Sexual health is multifaceted. Effective sex therapy considers the connection between medical and physiological factors, emotional wellbeing, relationship dynamics, cultural influences, and personal history. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, services are thoughtfully tailored to your unique experiences, values, and goals.

My work is sex-positive, inclusive, and kink-allied, honoring diverse identities, expressions, and relationship styles while supporting you in building a more connected and fulfilling intimate life.

Sex Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an evidence-based approach to couples and individual therapy that focuses on strengthening emotional bonds and reshaping patterns of disconnection. Rooted in attachment science and developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, EFT helps partners understand the deeper emotions and unmet attachment needs that drive conflict and distance.

Rather than simply managing surface-level disagreements, EFT works to identify the negative cycles couples get stuck in, such as pursue/withdraw or criticize/defend, and transform them into moments of vulnerability, responsiveness and secure connection. Partners learn how to express fears, longings and needs in ways that invite closeness rather than push each other away.

EFT can be helpful for couples experiencing recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, infidelity, life transitions or trauma. It is also valuable for individuals seeking to better understand relationship patterns and build more secure connections.

The goal of Emotionally Focused Therapy is not just improved communication but a deeper, more resilient emotional bond where both partners feel seen, safe and supported.
