Relationship and Sex Therapy

Hi, I’m Amy, M.Ed, LPC, CST. If you’re here, something in your relationship, or within yourself, probably isn’t feeling the way you want it to.

Maybe you feel disconnected from your partner, stuck in the same arguments, or unsure how to talk about intimacy without it becoming uncomfortable or avoided altogether. Maybe there’s love there, but something feels missing.

You’re not alone in that, and it’s something we can work through together.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, intimacy concerns, and sexual wellbeing these are areas that are often deeply important, but not always easy to talk about.

My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I’m not here to judge or take sides. I’m here to help you better understand what’s happening, learn new ways of communicating, and create meaningful, lasting change.

In my work, I help clients:

  • Improve communication and break negative patterns

  • Rebuild trust and emotional connection

  • Navigating differences in desire or intimacy

  • Create a more fulfilling and connected relationship

I’ve pursued advanced training specifically in couples and sex therapy so I can support clients in ways that go beyond general talk therapy.

My background includes:

  • Gottman Level 1 & Level 2 Training in Couples Therapy

  • Certified Sex Therapist through the Sexual Health Alliance

  • Currently working toward certification with AASECT

This training allows me to help clients navigate both the emotional and physical aspects of relationships, including topics that many people find difficult to bring up anywhere else.

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be open about things they’ve never said out loud before without fear of judgment.

I believe that relationships are one of the most meaningful and sometimes most challenging parts of our lives. Whether you’re coming in as an individual or as part of a couple, I see therapy as a space to better understand yourself, your patterns, and what you truly want moving forward.

Before becoming a therapist, I served in the United States Air Force and later worked in public relations. These experiences shaped how I understand communication, stress, and the complexity of human relationships. Those roles taught me how people show up under pressure, how patterns of communication develop, and how important it is to feel seen and understood.

If you’re ready to feel more connected, understood, and aligned in your relationship, or within yourself, I’d be honored to work with you.
